Jaka masz wtyczke obd2??
Iphone 6s. Liczę na poprawę.
where language is Polish? !!!
Ever time I click the trouble code tab it closes the app !!
Motores
Totally bummed because the app crashes and won’t support j1850 vpw protocol. Threw my money away on their iobd2mini dongle and can’t get it to work probably because of the app.
Would be nice if it showed live data like live misfires. Also frustrating to get the Bluetooth to sync up sometimes
Surprisingly still working with iOS 14.6!, (2021), even though the app hasn’t been updated in 5 years :( Was recently getting frequent “Connection Failure” type messages, but discovered that turning OFF Bluetooth, even though I only use WiFi connection to my inexpensive generic ELM327 OBD2 WiFi only device… It Still WORKS! : but for some reason iOS only supports WiFi connectivity on genert ELM327 OBD2 readers. This free app version does ~90% of what other paid version apps do: though mostly I just need it to pull/wipe Codes, monitor Idle RPMs, test readiness diagnostics, and air/water temps. Of course using the ‘Dashboard’ on test drives, the Diagnostics and Performance screens, and perusing my custom dashboards also, gives me all the basics (and more) to troubleshoot problems, and monitor the success of my repairs etc. Thank you to the developer for having made such a nice little free tool that still works correctly with my generic ELM327, even though my late 90’s project cars are technically too old to be on the modern supported databases of most newer paid reader apps!
Been using for three years with little to no issue then due to recent iOS updates wouldnt work. then update came out program loads but wont work 8/10 attempts making it nearly worthless. Hv re installed so many times nothing helps.
Are you going to make compatible with apple?
I plug my odb2 into my iPad Pro. My iPad Pro recognizes the obd2 when plugged in. Does not say anywhere it’s just for Bluetooth connection use. Update the app, your software is outdated
Needs update
Only OBD app that is free to read engine codes!
This tool worked fantastic. I use it for monitoring Fuel Trim and other engine data that control performance. It is far more than a “dumb” coder reader/resettled. It is important however to set the WiFi settings on your phone to insure reliable connection. This setting seems to lacking on most of the set up instructions. Use 192.168.0.123 for the manual address setting and the scanner device host as ELM327. You should have no issues connecting!!
Hasn’t had an update in years. Product was working fine then came iOS7 now it's just crap my Wifi not Bluetooth device won't even connect anymore some I've got a $50 little white box that does nothing.
Garbage. Complete garbage. Never works. Or let me correcto myself. Works about 5% of the time. Always with failure connection issues and what not. Waste of money
Doesn’t work, no support.
Junk.
Only reason I use it over other apps because it’s free. The app needs some updating, 2 years with no update is a a bit ridiculous. I’m using an iPhone 7 Plus with a foseal obd2 WiFi adapter and the I’m sure it’s somewhat the adapters fault too but it loses connection and crashes a lot. Very frustrating! Please developer make more frequent updates to the app it wouldn’t be so bad! Going every two years is not good!
This app crashes all the time while you are trying to collect data. Do not waste your time on this app.
Distance not work on a 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK OBD2. It does not connect via Bluetooth with an iPhone 8plus
Bought the VAG iOBD2 reader and the VW/Audi app didn’t work at all! Had to use this app which has not VAG-COM capabilities at all! I can’t see the different control modules in my vw, I can’t do output test and the one thing that I was looking forward to, the o2 sensor test, crashed the app 3 straight times!
This app and xtools products are completely worthless. It honestly deserves less than 0 stars and should be taken off the app store
Good but can't find the boost gauge?...says it has hp and torque only thing I can find is on the live data...
App doesn’t work with European new cars.
Crash when gathering data
Ive have this app and the iOBD2 wifi adapter for over 2 years and it has come in tremendous handy. I know it takes a few moments to load and in live data sometimes all the data streams don't show up every time. But the wealth of informations you get is very helpful when a code does pops up.
Has been working well lately
Had trouble at first. Contacted the eBay seller and they walked me thru it. I have the iOBD2 "MINI". Once that was figured out it seems to be working fine.
For as much as they charge for the doggle you would think they would have an app that would work on a new car. No modle year for anything about 2016.
Takes 60 seconds to connect then crashes.
Claims to measure horsepower and torque, but I've never been able to find it. Emailed developer several times and have yet to receive a response.
Connected to my wifi ELM327 and was able to clear codes in seconds. Does exactly what I need it to
Please update, ever since iOS 10 update it won't connect.
I don't want to play "boy racer." I want to read and clear OBDII codes. This is the only app on here that does that for free. Excellent.
I really like this obd2 tool. I use it with the Elm327 and it does a lot more than I really ever need even. I even tried one of the paid OBD2 apps and still I think this one is better! Make sure you select the OBD2 tool you are using and select wifi or Bluetooth. Great app guys as far as I am concerned and I have used it around a year. Thanks!
It must have been a recent update, because after over a year of fast connecting and speedy alarm clearing, it now takes over a minute to connect and disconnects multiple times during each session. Recommend to stay away unless it is fixed.
Crashes while trying to connect with elm327
I bought a iOBD2 mini interface. I have a VW Golf MK6. This app does not read the trouble codes!
Now no longer works with my car. I'd recommend buying a better datalogger if you want consistency
It seems most of the features work without paying to upgrade.
La aplicación se de teniente inesperadamente en el módulo Dashboard.
Worked great when I first got it, but when I upgraded my phone to a 6S Plus running the latest iOS it stopped connecting to the Bluetooth adapter. Three unanswered emails to tech support, and I may need to send it back. Happy to change my review if an update resolves this issue.
One of the most comprehensive. Relatively easy to use. Some abbreviations in custom mode options that are relatively unimportant, but could have been more user friendly.
Still broken. I can not connect to my iPhone with any combination of restarting or even manual configuration. Also can not read transmission codes which is disappointing.
I am using this app with a WIFI OBD2 adapter. The iPhone connects to the WIFI alright, but then the app often reports no communication with ECU. There is this "No DataStream" message which is confusing, what does it mean really? No help information. When doing the readiness test, the app always crashes, sometimes it displays data for 10 seconds, but sometimes it crashes within less than 1 second, can hardly read the screen. Generally speaking the app is confusing, and requires a lot of hard navigation up and down menus, when navigation could have been implemented sideways using left/right swipe, for instance switching from the two "Readiness tests": 1-"Since last DTC Clear" and 2-"Current Drive Cycle". Another confusing thing is the message "Live data". What dos that mean? It seems to mean it's working but I can see that when no data is received. So what is it. Aslo confusing the WIFI signal switching from Blue to Red. One would think that red is when something not working, but I do see it when it is working. I am still giving it two stars instead of zero because, after a lot of efforts, I managed to clear a code once, and because the app is free... cannot ask for too much I guess! Last, I tried t report the crashing bug, but there is real "support website". I found a "Contact" button on a page that I could switch to English, then wrote my report and hit Send, only to get a a page all in Chinese with a error log that was telling my message had not been sent due to some error... But I am moving away from this app as soon as I find a better one! I advise anyone to try something else first, this app is really poor!
Nothing improved. Wi-Fi connecting is always failed. Do not download any way!!!!
The 7 January update fixed all of the errors. No more Chinese wifi works again. All fixed!
This company is setting themselves up for a very aggressive, false advertising lawsuit. I don't care if they update it in a few weeks...when I bought the product it showed it worked in English. I have looked over the costumer agreement. No where in there it states they can change the language. Let's just see what mr. Lawyer man says.
Well I really loved this app until now after the update , it is all in Chinese so looks like I have to learn Chinese real quick so I can use this again..... Super fail please refund my 15$
Need an update to fix the app so it is in English. Huge problem.
Latest update does not support WiFi for ELM327. Version 4.2 is now frozen. App is inoperable with this configuration.
